When we created a digital presence for a household brand
As a leading manufacturer and provider of home appliances since the 1960s, Tecno is a well-known brand. Now a household name in Singapore known for their cooker hobs and hoods to ovens, they became an instant hit among families right from when they were established as the sole distributor of Tecno and Tecnogas in the 1970s. Their best business strategy was to evolve with time, steadily progressing from traditional cookers to automated, high-precision built-in gas stoves.
WHAT IT TOOK
To meet the market’s changing demands, the Tecno team wanted to add an e-commerce division to their website. They approached us to make a simple, mobile responsive e-commerce platform. With a customer base predominantly of families, the user flow had to be smooth, and the buying process was very effortless and prompt.
WHAT WE DID
Being a family-favorite brand, Tecno’s e-commerce platform had to be made so that anybody could use it. Working closely with the team at Tecno, we did the wireframing and prototyping, taking into account their suggestions and preferences. The user flow was kept simple, and once we added custom images, the platform was ready to use. The end result was a sleek e-commerce platform that matched the rest of their website while also meeting the brand’s specific requirements.
